Gentle herbal laxative with Indian senna and organic coriander
TriphaLax consists of an extract of the leaves and pods of Indian senna (Senna alexandrina; syn. Cassia acutifolia, C. angustifolia, C. senna), a time-honored herbal laxative widely used in both Eastern and Western medicine,3 and Triphala (“three fruits”), an ancient Ayurvedic formula traditionally used to normalize bowel function, improve digestion, and rejuvenate and strengthen tissues. TriphaLax also contains Coriander fruits (Coriandrum sativum) which are traditionally combined with Indian Senna to soothe and stimulate digestion. Animal studies have shown that Coriander fruit significantly reduced the time required for food to transit the digestive tract and increased bile acid secretion which assists digestion.
Directions: Take 2-8 capsules preferably at bedtime. Dosage not to exceed 8 capsules twice daily.
Ingredients: 2 Capsules supply: Terminalia bellerica, Terminalia chebula and Phyllanthus emblica fruit extracts in equal parts 400 mg (50% tannins 200 mg), Senna alexandrina 30 mg (20% Sennosides 6 mg), Organic Coriander sativum fruits 100 mg.
