About Herring Gold
Norway is home to rich herring fishing grounds, one of the main sources of food for the Norwegian people. Herring oil, sustainably sourced from the roe of Norwegian spring-spawning herring, provides more omega-3 phospholipids than krill oil. It is also rich in DHA and EPA as well as choline and astaxanthin. Choline is important for healthy liver and brain function and is a precursor to the powerful brain chemical acetylcholine, which supports memory and information processing.
