    Essential-C & flavonoids offers a blend of ChelaMax® vitamin C and flavonoid compounds to provide vitamin C support for healthy immune and cellular function as well as blood vessel integrity. ChelaMax® offers scientifically-formulated, rigorously tested, and fully-chelated calcium ascorbate. The process of chelation wraps this non-acidic water-soluble nutrient in a protective shell to enhance bioavailability. A unique three step quality assurance and verification process ensures full chelation, purity, and efficacy. This process includes X-Ray diffraction (XRD) to confirm the actual structure of the compound, Fourier Transform Infrared (FT-IR) spectroscopy that creates a unique fingerprint specific to this material, and Thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) to confirm purity. The bioflavonoids quercetin and rutin are free radical scavengers that complement the roles of vitamin C.
