DGL Licorice Chewable tablets
Deglycyrrhizinated Licorice (DGL) is a safe and effective licorice extract. It is specially processed to have glycyrrhizin removed to avoid potential side effects such as elevated blood pressure. DGL improves the integrity of the natural mucus lining of the stomach and intestinal wall. It stimulates the protective factors which guard against weaknesses in these linings.

  • Directions

    Directions: Chew 1 tablet 3 times daily 20 minutes before each meal or as directed by a health practitioner. Taking DGL after meals is associated with poor results. DGL should be continued for at least 8 to 16 weeks after there is a full therapeutic response.

    Ingredients: Each tablet contains:
    Deglycyrrhizinated Licorice 10:1 Extract (Glycyrrhiza glabra) (root).................... 400 mg
    Providing 4000 mg crude herb licorice
    Other Ingredients: Xylitol, microcrystalline cellulose, anise seed, stearic acid, vegetable grade magnesium stearate (lubricant), silica, Stevia rebaudiana leaf.
