Echinacea Throat spray also contains: Antibacterial properties of Goldenseal root and forsythia; Slippery elm, a soothing demulcent that protects irritated mucous membranes and lubricates a dry mouth and throat; Licorice: antiinflammatory and antitussive. Components in licorice also promote production of interferon, a natural antiviral compound; Cloves, myrrh and black cherry to freshen breath.
